Lens Tints:
Not all lens tints are available for all models.
Overcast, flat light, snowy conditions and night: CAT.1
- Clear Pink: 75% VLT Exactly as it sounds, a clear lens with a hint of rose or pink to boost contrast. Rose being the best color to filter blue light.
- Light Blue: 52% VLT A very light rose base tint that almost looks amber with a blue reflective finish, lower VLT that makes this a great thin cloud cover lens for those looking for more light.
Partially overcast to sunny: CAT.2
- Ice Blue: 27% VLT Rose base tint that is a bit lighter and a light blue reflective finish makes this a good all around replacement lens.
- Emerald: 23% VLT Rose base tint and a light green reflective finish makes this a good partly sunny day replacement lens..
- Poppy Red: 20% VLT Red on red, rose base tint with a bright red reflective finish makes this a beautiful replacement lens when the sun dominates the occasional passing cloud.
Sunny bright days: CAT.3
- Sky Blue:13% VLT A deep rose base tint with a blue reflective finish that becomes more prominent when installed and worn.
- Gun Metal: 12% VLT3 A deep rose almost bronze like base tint with a silver reflective finish, a good above tree line, sunny day lens.
Photochromic Lens: Adapt to the light conditions, overcast to bright conditions: CAT. 1-3
- Photochromic Poppy Red: 12 to 55% VLT A shop favorite, rose base tint with a light red reflective finish that is a one lens does it all. The higher low light VLT of 55% makes this a better snowy or flat light lens than the Photo Sky Blue.
- Photochromic Sky Blue: 12 to 46% VLT A great all day lens with a wide VLT range. Rose base tint with a light blue reflective finish that works best in sunny to thin cloud cover days.
What the heck is VLT?
VLT or Visible Light Transmission is the measured percentage of available light allowed thru the lens and reaches your eye. So the lower the VLT the less light that reaches your eye and the higher the VLT the more light that reaches your eye.
