Technology:
- All Tifosi lenses provide 100% protection from all harmful UVA & UVB light rays.
- All lenses are constructed from scratch resistant, shatterproof polycarbonate material.
- Polarized lenses feature embedded polarized material, not simply a thin polarized coating.
- Optically decentered lenses eliminate distortion and prevent distracting magnification.
- Tifosi's proprietary glare guard lens coating prevents unnecessary glare & reduces eye strain and fatigue.
Lens Tints:
- Clear - Transparent lens but still offers UV protection. 95.6% VLT
- AC Red - The ideal "All Conditions" lens for any weather. A nice rose based tint. 41.4% VLT
- Smoke No Mirror - Grey/Smoke base tint, colors appear natural. Good all around lens. 11% VLT
Clarion lenses feature a hydrophobic coating that repels water and sweat to help prevent moisture from gathering on the lens, increasing visibility and preventing distortion:
- Clarion Blue Mirror - A Smoke base tint with a noticeable red hue for great contrast. Clarion Blue reflective finish to make wearing the lens all day easy. Sunny day lens. 13% VLT
- Clarion Sunset Pink Mirror - A Green Cinnamon base tint with a Clarion Pink Rose reflective finish. Perfect to provide good contrast while cycling and golfing. Easy on the eyes. 13% VLT
Clarion Fototec lenses automatically adjust the lens according to lighting conditions:
- Light Night Fototec - No reflective finish and offering a wide range of transition, color-neutral tint that won't distort colors. Transitions from a clear lens to a light gray lens when the sun hits. Best in low light to partly overcast weather. 76-28% VLT
- Clarion Gold Fototec - A very nice light blue base tint perfect for creating depth perception in low light conditions but darkens as the sun hits. Gold reflective finish that adds protection for those long sunny days in the saddle. This lens is a shop favorite 50-12% VLT
- Clarion Red Fototec - Widest range of VLT and transition from light to dark. A light blue base tint with a very light reflective finish. A color-neutral tint that won't distort colors. Best in low light to partly overcast weather. Another shop favorite and a perfect cycling lens. 64-14% VLT
*Visual Light Transmittance (VLT) indicates amount of light transmitted through the lens. The higher the percentage, the more light entered through the lens.
