Clarion lenses feature a hydrophobic coating that repels water and sweat to help prevent moisture from gathering on the lens, increasing visibility and preventing distortion:
- Clarion Blue Mirror - 14.7% VLT

Fototec lenses automatically adjust the lens according to lighting conditions:
- Light Night Fototec - Widest range of transition, color-neutral tint that won't distort colors. Best in low light to partly overcast weather. 76-28% VLT
- High Speed Red Fototec - Made specifically for high speed activities, offering a mid-range level of contrast. The ideal cycling lens. 35-13% VLT
- Smoke Fototec - Multi-purpose tint that is color-neutral. Great for full-sun to overcast conditions. 48-15% VLT

Pleased with hydrophobic
Fog less than normal lenses (actually have not experienced any fog after multiple rides). Color is good in varied conditions from low light to sunlight. I thought the "hydrophobic" was marketing cheese, but they have been great with sweat, splashes and condensation.

I love these lenses. I work outdoors at a Pool and they make everything crystal clear on super sunny days.

Vision help
Bought a pair of the lenses that have the magnifiers at the bottom so I can see my new GPS computer without having to stop & put on my reading glasses. Got a pair of the 2.0 correction. The weather's been so bad here I haven't been able to actually RIDE my bike, but experimenting with them inside I think they'll be a vast improvement over plain glasses.GREAT customer service!!

Clarion Blue
The dye in my clarion blue lenses were striated causing optical issues. They also don't block a significant amount of light. These things were Junk. Having said that, they look cool, thus the above 0 rating.
