Product Description
Smith Persist MIPS Helmet
Our first cycling season carrying the Smith Persist cycling helmet. We tested this last season as it replaced the Portal and found it to be lighter and cooler to wear. A mid range priced helmet that packs a lot of features and comfort designed for the everyday cyclist. Not just a stylish helmet as it comes equipped with MIPS, a web like layer that helps to protect your head from rotational forces in the event of a crash. We also liked the smooth shell of the Persist, void of any sharp points in the back or front of the helmet that can be a problem in so many bike helmets when hitting the ground when a fall occurs. The dial in adjustable VaporFit™ system provides a perfect customized fit, and the Persist features 21 well placed vents that work with internal air channels to keep your head cool and comfortable. Smith's AirEvac™ system efficiently pulls hot air off of your eyewear to prevent fogging. And what has become typical of Smith cycling helmets, the pass-through channels in the front of the helmet that allows your favorite sunnies from Smith to be easily stored on the front of the helmet. A well featured cycling helmet at a great price.
